Hair Prep & Washing: For washing, braid hair bundles into a single large braid to prevent tangling and frizz. Use a mild, sulfate-free or synthetic shampoo, rinse thoroughly, then follow with conditioner. For a deep clean, optionally soak hair in a 1:1 mix of apple cider vinegar before washing. Finish with a leave-in conditioner to soften ends and keep hair tangle-free.
Drying: Gently handle wet hair, pat with a cotton towel to remove excess water, and allow it to air dry completely (12–24 hours recommended). Once dry, detangle with a wide-tooth comb if needed. Avoid high heat from styling tools, heavy products, harsh dyes, or chemicals that may damage fibers.
Braiding & Styling: Before Braiding, always begin with clean, detangled hair. Divide hair into sections and apply a generous layer of braiding gel to each. Braid with firm but gentle tension to secure styles without stressing the scalp.
Storing Hair & Gel: Keep hair in a cool, dry place, preferably braided into a single large braid to prevent tangling. Store gel jars tightly closed, away from direct sunlight, heat, and excessive moisture. For best results, use gel within 12 months of opening.
