The Bronner Bros “The Beauty Icon Awards”, held on October 11 at the Riverside Epicenter in Atlanta, Georgia, was a historic celebration where tradition met innovation — and at the center of it all stood Vivace by KISS.
This collaboration between Bronner Bros, the iconic symbol of the Black beauty industry, and KISS Beauty Group, a global beauty leader representing the Korean community, marked a true cultural exchange built on mutual respect for heritage and identity.

For more than 70 years, Bronner Bros has been a guardian of beauty, creativity, and pride within the Black community. Meanwhile, KISS has continually set new standards of beauty around the world through innovation and diversity. Their first-ever partnership represented a symbolic moment where the Black and Korean beauty communities came together, creating an unprecedented sense of unity within the U.S. beauty supply industry.
Under the theme “Beauty is not a trend – it’s a legacy,” the two companies demonstrated that beauty transcends language and race, connecting people through empathy, pride, and shared identity. This partnership also underscored that true corporate value extends beyond profit — it lies in community empowerment and collective growth.
More than 1,000 stylists, salon owners, influencers, and consumers filled the venue. Under the dazzling lights, Vivace by KISS stood not just as a brand, but as a symbol of beauty where culture meets confidence, captivating audiences across the nation.

The ceremony honored 13 influential leaders in the beauty industry, including ten-time Grammy Award winner Chaka Khan, makeup innovator Danessa Myricks, entrepreneur Jesseca Harris-Dupart, stylist Derek J, and master hair artist Kevin Kirk.
Their stories transcended style — each represented a legacy of creativity, resilience, and identity that continues to inspire future generations.

Throughout the venue, the Vivace Brand Zone offered guests hands-on experiences to explore the brand’s design and quality. The newly unveiled VIVATRESS Braiding Hair Collection received enthusiastic praise for its natural texture, soft touch, and vibrant color range. Many stylists commented that “Vivace is not just a product, but a symbol of confident style.”
